I didn't really have much interest in the new user interface of Windows 11. It's more modern and attractive than previous versions of Windows, but it also has a side that doesn't suit my way of working - Microsoft spent almost half its space on suggestions I've never asked for.

In reality, I've forgotten to click once on this main menu section since installing it in January 2021. Most of the time, I'm already in the search area to quickly enter a device name into my web browser before even looking at the commands.

I was feeling uninspired, so I decided to stop the program that automatically suggests applications I've installed. I noticed it became easier to find my usual programs and less intrusive for a smoother user experience.

With recommendations turned off, Windows 11 is not only less confusing but also much more effective in its daily functioning.
